I’ve had people ask me about some of my favorite products, especially since I’ve had an opportunity to try different brands thanks to my subscription boxes. That being said, I decided to list some of my favorite products! This list will include skin care, hair care, and makeup!

Masque Bar Hydrating Peel-off Mask
I’m always iffy about masks. I have used peel-off masks of different consistencies, sheet masks, and wash off masks. I’m not usually a big fan of the masks themselves or the results. This one is completely different! I don’t use them often, but I was out in the sun all weekend and my skin was incredibly dry. I figured it was worth itmask to try. It had been sitting in a drawer with other masks that I had not touched and I finally pulled it out. I only had the mask on for maybe 20 minutes until it tightened, so I could peel it off, and I was amazed. I peeled it off in two sections: my forehead, and the rest of my face. It came off easily, and my face was incredibly soft, moisturized without being greasy, and the little bit of peeling my forehead was experiencing from my length out in the sun, was gone! My skin has honestly never felt better.
You can get it here from Target for $3.49! It’s inexpensive, and I loved it. However, the reviews on the Target product page are not great…

Clinique Beyond Perfecting Foundation & Concealer in Alabaster
I have tried so many foundations for different skin types, shades, brands, etc. I have always had a difficult time finding the right foundation, because I am incredibly pasty, but I also have a more yellow-y tone. Most people that have as fair skin as cliniqueI do, have more of a pink tone, and I look like an alien when I use those colors.
I also prefer a more full coverage foundation and this does the trick! I have been using this foundation for about 8 months now and I have no plans in trying something new (unless I magically start to get tan and need a darker shade).
I have combination skin, but sometimes I’m extra oily, and sometimes my skin is a desert. This has also been an issue for me when looking for foundations, and this stays on through it all!
You can get it here at Ulta for $28.00. That’s much more than I have ever spent on foundation, but it has lasted so long and it is perfect for my skin.

Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge
This is just an inexpensive beauty blender. I tried a brand that I got from target that was pink and looked like the “real” beauty blender, but it was terrible. It was hard, wouldn’t absorb any water, and definitely didn’t blend. beauty blender
This one stains incredibly easy (as you can see in the photo), but it does the jobs that I bought it to do: get my makeup on and blend it out. It’s soft, can be used dry or damp (I prefer damp), and lasts a while. You can get a set of two here, which is less expensive than just one of the name brand. It seems to have positive reviews and I have seen YouTubers use them before as well!

So Susan Blush & Glow Luminizing Blush
I received this product in an ipsy bag, and it is now permanently in my makeup bag. I’m a sucker for blush, and I love finding good shades, but I hate wasting money on poor blush (2)quality and pigment. I am pasty and don’t have natural pink hues, so blush helps me look alive, so I don’t always hear, “Are you feeling okay? You look pale.”
This product is also hypoallergenic, vegan, non-comedogenic, and doesn’t have mineral oil, parabens, phthalates, or gluten. AND they are 100% cruelty-free, meaning they do not test on animals!
Luckily, I received this blush from ipsy, because it is a little pricey (for me, anyway) at $22.95. You can learn more about it, or purchase it here.

NYX Cosmetics Lip Lingerie Liquid Lipstick in the shade Bedtime Flirt
For some reason, it took me about 23 years to figure out that I need lipstick, because my lips are the same color as my skin. I really like liquid lipstick, because I think it looks better, and it’s easier to apply. I tried this on in the store and I really liked thenyx shade. I prefer a mauve-y darker lip, because lighter colors just look strange on me, and I like darker colors in general. This shade isn’t too dark on me, but actually looks fairly natural with my skin tone. It stays on fairly well and it is inexpensive. However, can we stop naming colors such strange names? My boyfriend’s mom asked for the brand and shade. It was super fun to say it was “Nyx Lingerie in Bedtime Flirt”…
You can get it for $6.99 at Ulta, and you can browse their many other shades.

Colourpop Ultra Matte Liquid Lip in the shade Beeper
I am in love with this color. My biggest issue is that I feel like it comes off fairly easily, but IMG_2842maybe I just fuck it up somehow. Either way, I love this color SO MUCH. Instead of just showing you what the product looks like, I’m also going to show you what it looks like on my lips. The tube just doesn’t do it justice.
I got it straight from the Colourpop website for just $6.00! They have so many other shades as well that you can peruse. And can we just appreciate the description for beeper? “Call me, beep me, if you wanna reach me in this greige rose.” I love a good Kim Possible reference.

Glamglow Supercleanse Daily Clearing Cleanser
I wanted a new cleanser, so I looked for ones that works for combination skin, glamglowand maybe even prevents/clears breakouts. I found a few and this one had pretty good reviews, so I figured hey, why not try this one out. I use it either every day or almost every day, and I really like it. My skin feels tight, but also soft right after, and my skin just looks better. I always follow it up with my favorite moisturizer (will discuss later), and it works like a charm. It also doesn’t contain parabens, sulfates, or phthalates, which is a definite plus!
It’s a little pricey, but it has lasted so long and it is definitely worth it! You can get
1 oz at Sephora for $14.00 or 5 oz for $29.00.

Pureology Pure Volume Shampoo & Conditioner
shampooAs I have colored hair, I am always very picky about what I put on my head. It says it is for “fine colour-treated hair”, and although I don’t have anything close to fine hair, it works perfectly. Most people I know use whatever is cheapest and aren’t worried about what they are putting on their hair, but this is great for those of you who are more concerned!
I usually purchase this brand in the salon, but you can get the shampoo for $28.00 and the conditioner for $30.00 at Ulta.

Palmer’s Coconut Oil Body Lotion
I received this in a subscription box once when I really needed it. coconut oilIt says it is body lotion, but I use it on my face every single day. It is a miracle for dry skin, and I use it on my normal/combination skin daily, and it doesn’t make me oily in the slightest. I have tried many moisturizers, especially when my skin gets incredibly dry, and this is one of the only ones that works. It also smells amazing. You would not regret buying this product.
You can get an 8.5 fl oz size here for $5.50. Mine is only 1.7 fl oz, and I’m not even close to getting through the bottle, and I’ve had it for a few months now.

There are more products that I really like, but these are the ones I use every single day and would purchase over and over again. If you have similar wants and needs, these would be great buys! No one has asked me to talk about any of these products. I just really like them, and I think they deserve recognition and a little advertising.
